How it works

1. Cast the Dinosaur in your hand by paying its mana cost. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
2. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the Dinosaur.
3. When the Dinosaur dies, Athreos's second ability triggers, returning the Dinosaur from your graveyard to the battlefield. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop centers around Athreos, Shroud-Veiled, whose lingering presence ensures that any creature bearing one of its coin counters returns straight to the battlefield when it dies or is exiled. By tagging a Dinosaur with that crucial coin counter via Athreos at the beginning of your end step, you set the stage for Blue, Loyal Raptor to do the heavy lifting—re-applying that counter's replication effect every single time the creature returns. You then feed that creature into Bloodflow Connoisseur to cash in on a sacrifice, which simultaneously grows the Connoisseur with a +1/+1 counter while triggering Athreos to bring your Dinosaur right back to the field.
