How it works

1. Cast the Dinosaur in your hand by paying its mana cost. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
2. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing the Dinosaur.
3. When the Dinosaur dies, Athreos's second ability triggers, returning the Dinosaur from your graveyard to the battlefield. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Athreos, Shroud-Veiled into an unyielding engine by turning its coin-counter recursion into a closed circuit. When you leverage Blue, Loyal Raptor's passive ability, any Dinosaur you cast enters the battlefield bearing a coin counter, perfectly setting up Athreos to trigger the moment it leaves. You then feed that creature to Bartolomé del Presidio, whose sacrifice outlet not only triggers the recursion but pumps up its own size with +1/+1 counters along the way.
