How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing the creature with a coin counter on it.
2. When the creature dies, Athreos's second ability and Reluctant Role Model's second ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Athreos trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Reluctant Role Model trigger, putting a coin counter on it if it wasn't the creature that was sacrificed, or another nontoken creature you control otherwise.
5. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
6. Repeat.

This crafty loop relies on Athreos, Shroud-Veiled placing a coin counter on a creature so that its death immediately triggers a return to the battlefield under your control. By feeding that creature to Yahenni, Undying Partisan's sacrifice ability, you not only trigger infinite sacrifices and death triggers, but you also empower Yahenni with growing resilience and size. Meanwhile, Reluctant Role Model watches the chaos unfold and ensures that any counters the sacrificed creature carried don't go to waste, passing them along to keep the engine seamlessly flowing.
