How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature with a coin counter on it, adding one mana of any color.
2. When the creature dies, Athreos's second ability and Reluctant Role Model's second ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Athreos trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Reluctant Role Model trigger, putting a coin counter on it if it wasn't the creature that was sacrificed, or another nontoken creature you control otherwise.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Athreos, Shroud-Veiled placing a coin counter on a target creature, ensuring that whenever it dies, it returns directly to the battlefield under your ownership.
