How it works

1. Cast Teferi by paying 4, which enters the battlefield with ten loyalty counters due to Vorinclex.
2. Activate Teferi's third loyalty ability by removing nine loyalty counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Activate Meticulous Excavation by paying 2, returning Teferi from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Repeat each turn.

This fascinating sequence exploits Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to instantly supercharge Teferi, Timebender upon entry, doubling his starting counters from five to ten so he is immediately ready to unleash his ultimate ability. By spending nine of those counters to take an extra turn, Teferi is left on the brink of exhaustion, but that is where Meticulous Excavation steps in to cleanly bounce him back to your hand for reuse. Resetting him this way allows you to replay him on your subsequent turns, bypassing timing restrictions and letting Vorinclex's replacement effect continually fund a loop of infinite turns and complete control.
