How it works

1. Cast Journey On either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 1 and commander tax, if applicable, creating at least three Map artifact tokens and exiling Journey On with the ability to cast it from exile.
2. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing three Maps, adding six C.
3. Cast Kellan from exile by paying 2.
4. Activate Meticulous Excavation by paying 3, returning Kellan from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.
6. If you have at least three opponents who each control an artifact, once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Maps, and you may use the Maps to put infinite +1/+1 counters on creatures you control.

This clever loop relies on Mycosynth Lattice to turn your entire board—including your commander, Kellan, Daring Traveler // Journey On—into artifacts alongside your Map tokens. With Krark-Clan Ironworks ready to sacrifice those artifacts for generous piles of colorless mana, you can easily pay for Meticulous Excavation to bounce Kellan right back to your hand. From there, you simply replay Kellan, letting Journey On generate even more Map tokens to fuel the engine and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
