How it works

1. Activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Cast Peregrine Drake by paying 4 plus an additional 2 for its offspring cost.
3. When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers twice.
4. Resolve the first Peregrine Drake trigger, untapping up to five lands.
5. Holding priority, activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
6. Resolve the second Peregrine Drake trigger, creating a token copy of it that is 1/1.
7. When the Peregrine Drake token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to five lands.
8. Activate Meticulous Excavation by paying 2, returning the nontoken Peregrine Drake from the battlefield to your hand.
9. Repeat.
