How it works

  1. Declare Ethereal Forager as an attacker.
  2. Ethereal Forager triggers, returning Walk the Aeons from exile to your hand.
  3. Activate Termur Sabertooth by paying 2W mana, returning Ethereal Forager to your hand from the battlefield.
  4. Move to your postcombat main phase.
  5. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 4U manaU mana, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  6. Cast Ethereal Forager by paying 3U manaU mana and exiling Walk the Aeons from your graveyard.
  7. Chulane triggers, causing you to draw a card and allowing you to put a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
  8. Repeat each turn.

This cunning loop chains together recursive extra turns by leveraging Ethereal Forager's ability to dive into your graveyard and fish out spells you've already cast. By using Meticulous Excavation to bounce Ethereal Forager back to your hand, you reset its board presence so you can recast it and exile Walk the Aeons from your graveyard all over again. The buyback cost on Walk the Aeons isn't even necessary here; instead, casting the spell normally lets you take your extra turns while Ethereal Forager's attack trigger continuously retrieves it, giving you all the time you need to dominate the board. *(Note: While Temur Sabertooth and Chulane are mentioned in the procedural flow, their mechanics drive the bouncing and casting engine that holds this sequence together.)*
