How it works

1. Cast Touch of Vitae by paying 2, targeting Sanctum Weaver.
2. Activate Quicksilver Elemental by paying , causing it to gain Sanctum Weaver's activated abilities until end of turn.
3. Activate Quicksilver Elemental using Sanctum Weaver's ability by tapping it, adding at least .
4. Activate Quicksilver Elemental using Sanctum Weaver's ability granted to it by Touch of Vitae by paying 0, untapping Quicksilver Elemental.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Quicksilver Elemental into a self-sustaining mana factory by borrowing the exact tools it needs to break the rules of activation. First, Touch of Vitae grants Sanctum Weaver a free, once-per-turn untap ability while giving it haste, but the real magic happens when Quicksilver Elemental uses its own ability to absorb Sanctum Weaver's activated tap ability. Because Quicksilver Elemental's static ability allows you to spend blue mana as though it were any color to pay its activation costs, you can freely filter and repeat the process—tapping the Elemental for a massive influx of mana based on your enchantments, using the zero-cost untap to ready it again, and feeding the loop infinitely.
