How it works

1. Activate Sanctum Weaver by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying , untapping Sanctum Weaver.
3. Repeat for infinite blue mana.
4. Once you have infinite blue mana, you may activate Sanctum Weaver an infinitely large number of times, adding infinite colored mana.

This classic pairing transforms Sanctum Weaver into an absolute mana engine, provided you control enough enchantments to cover the cost of Freed from the Real. Enchanting Sanctum Weaver with Freed from the Real allows you to spend one of the generated blue mana to untap it, while the enchantment's blue activation cost is easily paid for by Sanctum Weaver's own tap ability—so long as X is at least two. By looping this tap and untap dance, you generate infinite blue mana, which can then be used to tap and untap Sanctum Weaver for infinite mana of any color you desire.
