How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Eternal Scourge, adding CC.
  2. Eternal Scourge is exiled instead of being put into your graveyard due to Rest in Reace.
  3. Cast Eternal Scourge from exile by paying 3.
  4. Rocco triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control and creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token and a Food artifact token.
  5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Squirrel, adding CC.
  6. Repeat.
