How it works

1. Play Oboro, Palace in the Clouds.
2. When Oboro, Palace in the Clouds enters the battlefield, Zendikar's Roil and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
3. In response, activate Oboro's first ability by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Oboro's last ability by paying 1, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Zendikar's Roil trigger, creating a token.
7. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers, putting Oboro from your hand onto the battlefield.
8. When Oboro, Palace in the Clouds enters the battlefield, Zendikar's Roil triggers.
9. Repeat from step 3.

This loop transforms a simple land drop into an engine by using Kodama of the East Tree as the central bridge between your mana and your tokens. Every time Oboro, Palace in the Clouds enters the battlefield, Zendikar's Roil triggers to create a 2/2 green Elemental creature token, and that token's entry triggers Kodama to instantly put Oboro right back onto the battlefield from your hand. You simply tap Oboro for blue mana before bouncing it back to your hand using its own activation cost, feeding the entire cycle infinitely.
