How it works
Activate Cauldron of Souls by tapping it, giving two nontoken artifact creatures persist until end of turn.
Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the nontoken artifact creatures, untapping Cauldron of Souls.
Activate Arcbound Ravager by sacrificing one of the nontoken artifact creatures that doesn't have a -1/-1 counter on it.
When the creature dies, its persist ability and Szarel triggers.
Resolve the persist trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Resolve the Szarel trigger, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on the other artifact creature.
Resolve the Arcbound Ravager ability.
Repeat from step 3 once, instead sacrificing the creature who had counters placed on it in step 6.
Repeat from step 1.
This intricate loop transforms a quiet laboratory of artifacts into an engine of endless rebirth, powered by the synergy between Szarel, Genesis Shepherd and Cauldron of Souls. When you tap the Cauldron, it grants persist to your creatures, allowing them to bounce back from the graveyard while Clock of Omens untaps the Cauldron by tapping those very same artifacts. Arcbound Ravager acts as the grim catalyst, eating those artifact creatures to fuel its own growth, all while Szarel, Genesis Shepherd watches and rewards each sacrifice by piling +1/+1 counters onto your board. Those newly added counters instantly cancel out the -1/+1 counters from persist, ensuring your sacrificial fodder is perpetually fresh and ready to be fed back into Arcbound Ravager again and again.
