How it works
Activate Cauldron of Souls by tapping it, giving two nontoken artifact creatures persist until end of turn.
Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the nontoken artifact creatures, untapping Cauldron of Souls.
Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing one of the nontoken artifact creatures that doesn't have a -1/-1 counter on it.
When the creature dies, its persist ability and Szarel triggers.
Resolve the persist trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Resolve the Szarel trigger, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on the other artifact creature.
Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
Repeat from step 3 once, instead sacrificing the creature who had counters placed on it in step 6.
Repeat from step 1.
This intricate engine turns your artifact creatures into an immortal sacrifice loop by leveraging Cauldron of Souls to grant them persist, while Clock of Omens keeps the Cauldron active by tapping those very creatures. Whenever you feed one of them to Bartolomé del Presidio, it hits the graveyard and immediately returns, offsetting its new -1/-1 counter thanks to Szarel, Genesis Shepherd, which hands out a wave of +1/+1 counters to fuel the next cycle. Szarel, Genesis Shepherd also quietly lets you replay any sacrificed lands straight from your graveyard, ensuring your resources never run dry while you rack up infinite sacrifices, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and a massively growing creature.
