How it works

1. Cast Lifelace by paying , causing Quicksliver Elemental to become green until end of turn.
2. Activate all Forests and green mana-producing creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Quicksilver Elemental by paying , causing it to gain all abilities from Patron of the Orochi until end of turn.
4. Activate Quicksliver Elemental using Patron of the Orochi's ability by tapping it, untapping all Forests and green creatures you control.
5. Repeat from step 2.

To pull off this mesmerizing loop, we first use Lifelace to paint Quicksilver Elemental green, allowing it to safely borrow the nature-bound secrets of Patron of the Orochi. Once Quicksilver Elemental activates its blue-mana ability to copy the Patron's untap power, it gains the signature green-creature untap capability without losing its own identity. By tapping and untapping your Forests and green creatures recursively, you can flood your mana pool with infinite green and colored mana to fuel any grand design you desire.
