How it works

1. Activate Mairsil using Nyx Lotus' ability by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Mairsil using Morphling's first ability by paying , untapping it.
3. Activate Mairsil using Quicksilver Elemental's ability by paying , causing it to gain all activated abilities of itself until end of turn.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop centers on Mairsil, the Pretender, who has absorbed the abilities of your exiled arsenal and stands ready to bend them to your will. By caging Morphling and Quicksilver Elemental, Mairsil gains the vital untap skill and the unique ability to copy all activated abilities of a creature—including its own newfound powers. Once Nyx Lotus is on the battlefield generating a surge of devotion-fueled mana, you can feed that blue mana back into Mairsil to untap it repeatedly, generating an infinite surplus of colored mana in the process.
