How it works

1. Activate Changeling Outcast by sacrificing it, adding .
2. Cast Changeling Outcast from your graveyard by paying .
3. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Changeling Outcast's built-in changeling characteristic to simultaneously function as both a Sliver and a Knight. Basal Sliver provides the engine's fuel by granting every Sliver the ability to sacrifice itself for two black mana, which easily pays the exact single-black-mana cost required to cast Changeling Outcast right back out. Meanwhile, Haakon, Stromgald Scourge watches from the battlefield and utilizes its static ability to let you continuously cast those Knight spells straight from your graveyard. The result is a self-sustaining cycle that endlessly recycles the outcast for infinite black mana, death triggers, and storm count without ever running out of resources.
