How it works

1. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0, attaching it to the Knight.
2. Activate the Knight by tapping and sacrificing it, adding three mana of any color.
3. Cast the Knight from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.
5. If the Knight has mana value 2 or less, this combo nets infinite mana.

This clever loop transforms your graveyard into an engine by letting Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale leverage her unique ability to reduce Equipment costs to zero. With Syr Gwyn in play, Lotus Ring can be attached to a Knight for free, granting that creature the ability to sacrifice itself for a burst of three mana. Meanwhile, Haakon, Stromgald Scourge provides the crucial recurring recursion, allowing you to continually recast that sacrificed Knight straight out of your graveyard. While Frostcliff Siege isn't strictly necessary to generate the mana loop, choosing its Temur mode can grant haste and power to ensure your board is aggressive, though the core engine relies entirely on looping the Knight in and out of the graveyard to fuel infinite mana, sacrifices, and storm count.
