How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Tana.
2. Tana triggers, creating at least five 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
3. Activate Time Sieve by tapping it and sacrificing five Saprolings, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
4. Repeat each turn.

By weaving Encroaching Mycosynth into your strategy, every single nonland permanent you control—including the Saproling tokens you make—gains the artifact card type, turning your board into a ready stockpile for Time Sieve. Once Tana, the Bloodsower connects with an opponent, her combat damage trigger easily generates the five bodies needed to pay Time Sieve's sacrifice cost. Because Encroaching Mycosynth makes those creatures count as artifacts, you can continuously cash them in for infinite extra turns and lock the table out of the game.
