How it works

1. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping it and the creature with a tap trigger, targeting the creature.
2. Ertha Jo and the creature trigger.
3. Resolve the creature's trigger.
4. Resolve the Ertha Jo trigger, copying Clock of Omens' ability, targeting Clock of Omens.
5. Resolve both Clock of Omens abilities, untapping it and the creature tapped in step 1.
6. Repeat.

When you tap Clock of Omens and that creature to pay the Clock's activation cost, Ertha Jo's triggered ability steps in to copy the untap effect because the activation targeted a creature.
