How it works

1. Activate Viridian Joiner by tapping it, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Viridian Joiner.
3. Repeat

This clever engine transforms a modest elf into an infinite mana generator by completely rewriting the battlefield's type line with Encroaching Mycosynth, turning your entire nonland board—most importantly Viridian Joiner—into artifacts. Once Viridian Joiner has enough power to produce more than two green mana per tap, you can use a portion of that bounty to pay Voltaic Construct's ability cost to untap the Joiner. Because the Construct's untap target is no longer restricted to traditional artifact creatures, you can loop this process indefinitely to generate infinite green mana and infinite untaps.
