How it works
During an opponent's turn, after their upkeep step, activate all mana-producing lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 6.
Cast Reset by paying , untapping all lands you control.
Activate Urza by paying 6, creating a token copy of Archaeomancer that is a 1/1 Soldier in addition to its other types.
When the Archaeomancer token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Reset to your hand from your graveyard.
Repeat.
If lands you control can tap to proudce at least 7, this combo nets infinite mana, which can be used to activate Urza's ability infinitely and/or cast Reset choosing its other modes.
This clever loop transforms an opponent's turn into your own private workshop, fueled by the mana-generating power of your lands. With Encroaching Mycosynth turning every nonland permanent into an artifact, Urza, Prince of Kroog can target your creatures with his copy ability, creating a 1/1 Soldier token copy of Archaeomancer. When that Archaeomancer token enters the battlefield, its triggered ability immediately returns Reset from your graveyard to your hand. Tapping your lands—which are successfully generating enough mana to cover the costs—lets you cast Reset to untap them all, feeding the cycle anew.
