How it works

1. Activate Goblin Welder by tapping it, sacrificing any artifact creature you control and returning any other artifact creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. The sacrificed creature dies, triggering Dross Scorpion, untapping Goblin Welder.
3. Repeat.

This loop transforms your graveyard and battlefield into an endlessly cycling workshop, powered by the continuous artifact-swapping loop of Goblin Welder. Dross Scorpion acts as the mechanical heart of the engine, using its untap trigger every time an artifact creature dies to ready Goblin Welder for another exchange. The real brilliance of this setup, however, lies in Encroaching Mycosynth: by turning all of your nonland permanents, spells, and graveyard cards into artifacts, it broadens your raw materials so that *any* creature you control can feed the welder and trigger the scorpion.
