How it works

1. Cast Encroaching Mycosynth by paying 3.
2. When Encroaching Mycosynth enters the battlefield, Simulacrum Synthesizer's second ability triggers, creating a 0/0 Contruct artifact creature token that enters the battlefield as a copy of Essence of the Wild.
3. When the Essence of the Wild token enters the battlefield as an artifact due to Encroaching Mycosynth, Simulacrum Synthesizer's second ability triggers, creating a 0/0 Contruct artifact creature token that enters the battlefield as a copy of Essence of the Wild.
4. Repeat step 3.

This brilliant loop relies on a clever type-shifting foundation provided by Encroaching Mycosynth, which ensures that all your nonland permanents and permanent spells are artifacts alongside their other types. With that blanket transformation active, every creature you cast or create will satisfy the mana value 3 or greater requirement of Simulacrum Synthesizer. When you introduce a new artifact, Simulacrum Synthesizer triggers to generate a 0/0 Construct token, which is immediately rewritten into a copy of Essence of the Wild as it enters the battlefield. Because that copying process treats the incoming token as an artifact creature entering the battlefield under your control, it triggers Simulacrum Synthesizer all over again to spawn another copy, locking the game into an unstoppable, mandatory loop of identical triggers that ends in a draw.
