How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Dockside Chef, adding .
2. When Dockside Chef dies, Mortuary and Ashiok's Reaper trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Dockside Chef on top of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Ashiok's Render trigger, causing you to draw Dockside Chef from your library.
5. Cast Dockside Chef by paying .
6. Repeat.

This crafty loop lets you sacrifice and recast Dockside Chef over and over again, completely fueling itself through the mana-generating power of Phyrexian Altar. Every time Dockside Chef hits the graveyard, Mortuary quietly steps in to place him right back on top of your library. Simultaneously, Ashiok's Reaper turns that trip to the graveyard into a brand new card draw, seamlessly putting Dockside Chef back into your hand for just the single mana you generated from the sacrifice.
