How it works

1. Cast Whim of Volrath with buyback by paying , targeting Sage of Hours.
2. Sage of Hours triggers, causing you to put a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Resolve Whim of Volrath, returning it to your hand.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 four additional times.
5. Activate Sage of Hours by removing all +1/+1 counters from it, taking an extra turn after this one.
6. Repeat each turn.
