How it works
Cast Haze of Rage with buyback by paying . Urabrask, Haze of Rage's storm ability, Blood Funnel and Murmuring Mystic trigger.
Resolve the Urabrask trigger, adding and dealing 1 damage to any target.
Resolve the Murmuring Mystic trigger, creating a creature token.
Resolve the Blood Funnel trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature token.
Resolve the Haze of Rage trigger, copying it for each spell cast before it this turn.
Resolve all Haze of Rage spells.
Repeat.
This cunning storm loop turns Haze of Rage into a self-sustaining engine by slashing its buyback cost down to just {R} using Memory Crystal, while Blood Funnel offsets its own counter-spell tax by feeding its mandatory creature sacrifice requirement directly with the 1/1 Bird Illusion tokens pumped out by Murmuring Mystic. Meanwhile, Urabrask acts as the ultimate payoff and fuel source, providing a red mana and dealing a point of damage to your opponent every time an instant or sorcery is cast, while its back face (The Great Work) can even let you replay spells from the graveyard if you ever need to kickstart the chain. As you continuously cast and buy back Haze of Rage, the storm count climbs higher and higher to eternally pump your team, turning a modest mana investment into an unstoppable storm of damage, triggers, and tokens.
