How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Aether Channeler, adding CC.
  2. Aether Channeler dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay 4 to return Aether Channeler from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. Aether Channeler enters the battlefield, creating a 1/1 Bird creature token.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Bird, adding CC.
  5. Repeat.
