How it works

1. Activate Spatial Binding by paying life.
2. Repeat step 1 as desired.
3. Activate Rowan by tapping it, reducing the cost of all black and/or red spells you cast this turn.
4. Cast a copy of Exsanguinate, choosing for X to equal the amount of life you've lost this turn, but paying a total of due to Rowan.
5. Resolve Exsanguinate, causing each opponent to lose X life, and you to gain life equal to the life lost this way.

By funneling your own life total into Spatial Binding's activation cost, you deliberately bleed yourself dry to fuel Rowan, Scion of War, transforming that self-inflicted damage into a massive mana discount for your black and red spells. Once Rowan is tapped to set up this incredible cost reduction, you can cast the Exsanguinate half of Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate for a tiny fraction of its true worth, dumping a colossal amount of life loss onto your opponents. Resolving that Exsanguinate instantly drains the table and pours life back into your pool, providing you with a fresh buffer of life to repeat the whole cycle.
