How it works

  1. Activate Rowan by tapping it, reducing the cost of all black and/or red spells you cast this turn by at least 4.
  2. Cast Searing Touch with buyback by paying R mana due to Rowan's ability, targeting any applicable target.
  3. Deekah triggers, creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, then putting a +1/+1 counter on the Fractal.
  4. Resolve Searing Touch, dealing 1 damage to any target and returning Searing Touch to your hand.
  5. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Fractal, adding R mana.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
