How it works
- Activate Rowan by tapping it, reducing the cost of all black and/or red spells you cast this turn by at least 3.
- Cast Seething Anger with buyback by paying due to Rowan's ability, targeting any creature.
- Deekah triggers, creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, then putting a +1/+1 counter on the Fractal.
- Resolve Seething Anger, giving target creature +3/+0 until end of turn and returning Seething Anger to your hand.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Fractal, adding .
- Repeat from step 2.
This brilliant loop uses Rowan, Scion of War to massively slash the cost of your red and black spells based on life lost, turning Seething Anger into a self-sustaining engine. Every time you recast Seething Anger, Deekah, Fractal Theorist triggers to churn out an ever-growing Fractal creature token. You then feed that token directly into Phyrexian Altar to generate the red mana needed to cast Seething Anger again with buyback, repeating the cycle for infinite storm count, magecraft triggers, and sacrifices.
