How it works

  1. Activate five lands by tapping them, adding at least 5.
  2. Activate Meloku five times by paying 5 and returning the five lands from the battlefield to your hand, creating five 1/1 Illusion creature tokens.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar four times by sacrificing four Illusions, adding 2G manaG mana.
  4. Cast Journey to the Oracle by paying 2G manaG mana.
  5. Niv-Mizzet's second ability triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  6. Niv-Mizzet's first ability triggers, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  7. Resolve Journey to the Oracle, putting at least five lands from your hand onto the battlefield, then causing you to discard a card and Journey to the Oracle to your hand.
  8. Repeat.
