How it works

1. Cast Diamond Lion by paying 2.
2. When Diamond Lion enters, Ronin Warclub triggers, attaching itself to Diamond Lion.
3. Activate Diamond Lion by tapping it, sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding three mana of any color.
4. When Diamond Lion dies, Koll triggers, returning Diamond Lion from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Ronin Warclub's ability to automatically strap itself to any incoming creature, turning Diamond Lion into a self-returning loop engine. Once Diamond Lion is on the board wearing the equipment, you tap and sacrifice it for three mana, which triggers Koll, the Forgemaster to bounce it right back to your hand since it was equipped when it died. While Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded doesn't directly participate in the core mana loop, his presence ties the setup together by ensuring your entire army benefits from haste and explosive artifact creature entry options whenever you need them.
