How it works

1. Cast Diamond Lion by paying 2.
2. When Diamond Lion enters, Ronin Warclub triggers, attaching itself to Diamond Lion.
3. Activate Diamond Lion by tapping it, sacrificing it and discarding your hand, adding three mana of any color.
4. When Diamond Lion dies, Koll triggers, returning Diamond Lion from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Diamond Lion into a self-recycling mana source by exploiting Koll, the Forgemaster and Ronin Warclub. Because Ronin Warclub automatically attaches itself to the Lion the moment it enters, the Lion is always equipped, which satisfies Koll’s condition to bounce the creature straight back to your hand upon death. Once you sacrifice the Diamond Lion for three mana, you can simply recast it from your hand for two mana—leaving you up one mana each iteration while generating infinite sacrifices and storm count. Garna, the Bloodflame is waiting in the wings with flash and haste, ready to swoop in and return your entire graveyard to your hand if you ever need to pivot or recur other pieces.
