How it works

1. Activate Charming Scoundrel by paying 1, blinking it.
2. When Charming Scoundrel enters the battlefield, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, repairing it and Charming Scoundrel.
4. Resolve the Charming Scoundrel trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
6. Repeat.

This delightful loop hinges on Deadeye Navigator granting its signature blinking ability to Charming Scoundrel via soulbond, allowing you to repeatedly reset the Scoundrel for just one blue and one generic mana. Every time Charming Scoundrel re-enters the battlefield, it triggers its own ETB ability to seamlessly generate a Treasure token. That is where Goldspan Dragon's static text elevates the sequence: thanks to the Dragon, your newly minted Treasures tap for two mana instead of one, completely refunding the blink cost and leaving you with infinite enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers to exploit however you wish.
