How it works

1. Activate Lotus Field by tapping it, adding
2. Activate Derevi by paying 1, blinking it.
3. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trigger.
4. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, repairing it and Derevi.
5. Resolve the Derevi trigger, untapping Lotus Field.
6. Repeat.
7. Once you have infinite mana, you may untap any other permanent(s) using Derevi.

This dazzling loop turns the battlefield into a perpetual-motion engine by exploiting Derevi, Empyrial Tactician's entry trigger to constantly refresh your resources. Deadeye Navigator makes this possible by partnering via soulbond to grant Derevi a cheap blink ability, while Lotus Field provides an oversized mana foundation that more than pays for the flicker cost. Because Lotus Field enters untapped after being targeted by Derevi's untap trigger, every cycle nets extra mana of any color while endlessly repeating entry and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
