How it works

1. Activate Ignis by paying 1, blinking it.
2. When Ignis enters, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, repairing it and Ignis.
4. Resolve the Ignis trigger, causing you to look at the top six cards of your library and put a land card from among them onto the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer
5. If you put a land onto the battlefield this way, Nissa triggers, adding .
6. Activate the land by tapping it, adding at least 1.
7. Repeat.

By leveraging Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability to repeatedly flicker Ignis Scientia, you trigger Ignis Scientia's enter-the-battlefield effect to pull lands directly from your library. Horizon Explorer ensures those lands enter the battlefield untapped, which in turn fuels Nissa, Resurgent Animist's landfall ability to generate mana with every single cycle. This continuous loop of blinking, land dropping, and mana generation ultimately feeds right back into the activation cost for Ignis Scientia, allowing you to sustain the engine indefinitely.
