How it works

  1. Cast Uro by paying 1G manaU mana
  2. When Uro enters the battlefield, its first and second abilities trigger, as well as Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability.
  3. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, pairing it and Uro.
  4. Resolve the second Uro trigger, causing you to draw a card, gain 3 life, and put Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
  5. When Izzet Boilerworks enters untapped due to Spelunking, it triggers.
  6. Holding priority, activate Izzet Boilerworks by tapping it, adding U manaR mana.
  7. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  8. Activate Uro by paying 1U mana, blinking it.
  9. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop puts Deadeye Navigator to work as a repeatable engine, soulbonded to Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath so you can blink the Elder Giant before its sacrifice trigger catches up to it. Spelunking does the heavy lifting for your mana base, ensuring that when Izzet Boilerworks re-enters the battlefield, it arrives completely untapped and ready to generate resources without slowing your pace. By floating mana from Izzet Boilerworks in response to its own bounce trigger, you fund the blink cost to repeat the entire cycle, drawing your deck and triggering Uro's life-gaining arrival over and over again.
