How it works

  1. Cast Uro by paying 1G manaU mana
  2. When Uro enters the battlefield, its first and second abilities trigger, as well as Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability.
  3. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, pairing it and Uro.
  4. Resolve the second Uro trigger, causing you to draw a card, gain 3 life, and put Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
  5. When Izzet Boilerworks enters untapped due to Horizon Explorer, it triggers.
  6. Holding priority, activate Izzet Boilerworks by tapping it, adding U manaR mana.
  7. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  8. Activate Uro by paying 1U mana, blinking it.
  9. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on the soulbond ability of Deadeye Navigator to grant Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath a repeatable blink effect for just {1}{U}. Because Horizon Explorer's static ability keeps lands entering untapped, every time Uro blinks back onto the battlefield, its entry trigger lets you drop Izzet Boilerworks directly from your hand. You can tap Izzet Boilerworks for mana in response to its own bounce trigger, feeding the mana needed to keep Deadeye Navigator blinking Uro endlessly.
