How it works

  1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least U mana.
  2. Activate Atraxa by paying 1U mana, blinking it.
  3. When Atraxa enters the battlefield, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trigger.
  4. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, repairing it and Atraxa.
  5. Resolve the Atraxa trigger, revealing the top ten cards of your library and putting as many cards as possible from among them into your hand.
  6. Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a card, untapping the mana-producing permanent.
  7. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least U mana.
  8. Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a card, untapping the mana-producing permanent.
  9. Repeat.
  10. NOTE: This combo has a chance of failure if every card revealed by Atraxa has only one supertype, and all the cards share the same supertype. You can use extra cards from previous iterations to bypass this until your deck is empty, you run out of cards and/or you run out of mana.

This loop hinges on Deadeye Navigator keeping Atraxa, Grand Unifier constantly blinking so its entrance trigger can repeatedly dig through your deck and fill your hand with answers and fuel. To sustain this constant flickering, you rely on Mind Over Matter to translate those drawn cards into the untapped mana you need by discarding to untap your mana sources. While you churn through your library and discard resources at will, the only real threat to the engine is running completely out of unique card types to grab, making this a thrilling, high-risk way to overwhelm your opponents.
