How it works

1. Activate Plundering Pirate by paying 1, blinking it.
2. When Plundering Pirate enters, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trigger
3. Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, repairing it and Plundering Pirate.
4. Resolve the Plundering Pirate trigger, creating two Treasure tokens.
5. Activate both Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the soulbond pairing between Deadeye Navigator and Plundering Pirate to repeatedly cycle the Pirate in and out of exile. Each time Plundering Pirate re-enters the battlefield, it triggers Bard, King of Dale's replacement effect to double your token generation, yielding a pair of Treasure tokens instead of just one. You then cash in those very Treasures to pay the exact mana cost required to activate Deadeye Navigator's blink ability once again, sustaining the loop indefinitely.
