How it works
- Activate Marvin using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
- Activate Marvin by paying 1, blinking it.
- When Marvin enters, Deadeye Navigator triggers, repairing it and Marvin.
- Repeat each turn.
This loop relies on Marvin, Murderous Mimic's ability to copy the activated abilities of other creatures you control, allowing it to inherit Avatar Kuruk's massive Waterbend exhaust ability without needing to pay the full mana cost conventionally. Once Marvin has access to that extra-turn effect, Deadeye Navigator steps in as the engine's eternal safeguard; by pairing with Marvin via soulbond, Deadeye Navigator grants a reliable blink ability that resets Marvin each turn. Because The Legend of Kuruk // Avatar Kuruk constantly rewards your spellcasting with unblockable Spirit tokens—which can be tapped right along with your artifacts to fuel the Waterbend cost—you can easily sustain the heavy mana requirements and chain infinite extra turns to lock down the game.
