How it works

1. Cast Echo Storm by paying 3, targeting Naru Meha.
2. Echo Storm triggers, creating a copy of itself, targeting Naru Meha.
3. Resolve the copy of Echo Storm, creating a token copy of Naru Meha.
4. Put the token Naru Meha into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. The Naru Meha token's enters-the-battlefield ability triggers, creating a copy of Echo Storm, targeting Naru Meha.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop relies on Encroaching Mycosynth to fundamentally transform the battlefield, turning your nonland permanents—including Naru Meha, Master Wizard—into artifacts. Because of this, when you cast Echo Storm targeting Naru Meha, the resulting token copy created by the spell can target Naru Meha itself.
