How it works

  1. Cast Corpse Dance by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
  2. Holding priority, cast Naru Meha by paying its mana cost.
  3. When Naru Meha enters, it triggers, targeting Corpse Dance.
  4. Holding priority, activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Naru Meha.
  5. Resolve the Naru Meha trigger, copying Corpse Dance, with the copy targeting Naru Meha
  6. Resolve the Corpse Dance copy, returning Naru Meha from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

This mesmerizing loop leverages Naru Meha, Master Wizard and Corpse Dance to generate an endless cycle of return and recursion, fueled by Corpse Dance's clever buyback mechanic that ensures the spell stays right where you need it in your hand. By using Woe Strider to sacrifice Naru Meha in response to its own enter-the-battlefield trigger, you set up a pristine graveyard state where the copied spell can continuously fish Naru Meha right back out onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Woe Strider's passive sacrifice ability doesn't just manage the graveyard and trigger your death effects—it lets you scry 1 infinitely to completely filter through your entire deck while you churn out endless enter-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and magecraft triggers.
