How it works

1. Cast Ascend from Avernus by paying 4
2. Holding priority, cast Naru Meha by paying its mana cost.
3. When Naru Meha enters, it triggers, targeting Ascend from Avernus.
4. Holding priority, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Naru Meha.
5. Resolve the Naru Meha trigger, copying Ascend from Avernus
6. Resolve the Ascend from Avernus copy, returning Naru Meha from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever bit of stack manipulation to achieve infinite recursion. By casting Ascend from Avernus with enough mana value to hit your graveyard's threats, followed immediately by Naru Meha, Master Wizard, you set the stage for an endless cycle of return and sacrifice. When Naru Meha enters the battlefield, its triggered ability targets the original Ascend from Avernus on the stack; before that copy can resolve, you use Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice Naru Meha for a quick surveil. The resulting copy of Ascend from Avernus resolves and plucks Naru Meha straight back out of the graveyard, restarting the entire sequence.
