How it works

  1. Cast Continue? by paying its mana cost
  2. Holding priority, cast Naru Meha by paying its mana cost.
  3. When Naru Meha enters, it triggers, targeting Continue?.
  4. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Naru Meha.
  5. Resolve the Naru Meha trigger, copying Continue?
  6. Resolve the Continue? copy, returning Naru Meha from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop hinges on the recursion power of Continue?, which targets up to four creatures put into your graveyard from the battlefield this turn to return them straight to the battlefield. By casting Naru Meha, Master Wizard, its entering-the-battlefield ability goes on the stack to copy the original Continue? spell. Before that copy resolves, you use Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice Naru Meha for mana, sending the Wizard to the graveyard so it is legal to target. The resulting Continue? copy brings Naru Meha right back to repeat the process, while the Altar effortlessly turns the cycle into an endless supply of colored mana, death triggers, and sacrifice fodder.
