How it works

  1. Cast Exhume by paying its mana cost
  2. Holding priority, cast Naru Meha by paying its mana cost.
  3. When Naru Meha enters, it triggers, targeting Exhume.
  4. Holding priority, activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Naru Meha.
  5. Resolve the Naru Meha trigger, copying Exhume
  6. Resolve the Exhume copy, returning Naru Meha from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop turns Exhume into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Naru Meha, Master Wizard as both the spell-copier and the sacrifice fodder. When Naru Meha enters the battlefield to copy the original Exhume, Woe Strider steps in as the designated executioner, sacrificing Naru Meha into the graveyard so it can immediately be reanimated by the very copy it just created. Meanwhile, Woe Strider's passive sacrifice ability ensures you get a steady stream of scry triggers and a tidy graveyard exile route while the wizard and the sorcery endlessly perpetuate one another.
