How it works

1. Cast Lotus Petal by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Lotus Petal by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Lotus Petal from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Ravenous Intruder ability.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop is orchestrated by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, whose static triggered ability constantly brings back your fallen allies whenever you cast a historic spell. To fuel this engine, Lotus Petal provides the necessary mana while conveniently ending up in the graveyard where Scrap Trawler can keep watch. Whenever Ravenous Intruder sacrifices Scrap Trawler, that artifact's death triggers the Trawler's ability to return the Lotus Petal right back to your hand, allowing you to recast it and repeat the cycle while growing the Intruder to massive proportions.
