How it works
- Cast the self-sacrificing artifact in your hand by paying 0.
- Ms. Bumbleflower triggers, causing an opponent to draw a card, and then putting a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness.
- Evolution Witness triggers, returning the self-sacrificing artifact from your graveyard to your hand.
- Activate the self-sacrificing artifact cast in step 1 by sacrificing it, and paying other costs if necessary.
- Repeat.
This loop uses Ms. Bumbleflower as your engine, rewarding each spell you cast with targeted counters and opponent card draw. By continuously casting a zero-mana artifact like Lotus Petal or Urza's Bauble, you trigger Ms. Bumbleflower to place a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness. The arrival of that counter on Evolution Witness then triggers its ability, allowing you to recur the very same Lotus Petal or Urza's Bauble right back to your hand to be recast.
