How it works

1. Cast Lotus Petal by paying its mana cost.
2. When Lotus Petal enters, Builder's Talent's second ability triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Lotus Petal by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Resolve the Builder's Talent trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness.
5. Evolution Witness triggers, returning Lotus Petal from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on Builder's Talent acting as an enchantment engine that constantly feeds counters to Evolution Witness whenever noncreature permanents enter the battlefield. By sacrificing Lotus Petal for mana to help pay for your spells and abilities, you bin the artifact so that Evolution Witness's triggered ability can immediately fish it right back out of your graveyard.
